Unwinding in the Salon with Capri Blue

Let’s start this post by saying Capri Blue Volcano is an all time favorite smell for not only the home but the salon space too. With notes of sugared citrus and tropical fruit, it invokes a sense of happiness and relaxation as soon as you walk in the door. Volcano has proven to be a fan favorite with men and women alike. How much more universal can you get, right?

These lovely items are not only available in candles but in reed diffusers and room sprays too. The room sprays are what I prefer in the salon. The scent holds well over the course of the day without having an open flame. It’s perfect for the low maintenance pro on the go.

Stay tuned for more uses on how Capri Blue can be used to create a more harmonious space for you and your clients!

As September is now upon us, it is the perfect time to start transitioning from summer to fall makeup looks. This last season, warm coppers, reds, and golds were the most requested color schemes for the eyes. The look was finished off with ethereal glows illuminating the cheeks and brightening the eyes. With the changing of the seasons, also comes the changing of colors to accent your best features. With that being said, I've complied a list of my favorite fall products to bring you into the season of gratitude.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Eye Shadow Pallet

This gem is full of beautiful plum and shimmery gold tones to bring in the season.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick

This product lives up to it's name. Not only does it last all day, but the line offers 42 trendsetting colors. Speaking of trends, my fave for fall is the Everlasting Favorites line. It has the pink and plum shades perfect for the upcoming holidays.

Statement Blushes

As things are cooling down, we are still craving some color to brighten things up. The blush color is taking on more bold hues such as fuchsia or brick red to keep things lively. If you're not ready to go quite that daring, peach is always a good friend. Peach still provides a lot of warmth to the face, just in more of a subtle way. A versatile go-to for these colors is the Viseart Blush Pallet.

Summer hair is all about beachy waves and sun kissed hues. I get a lot of questions about the best products to use to achieve this look without leaving the hair feeling dry or brittle. I've compiled a list of my top 3 faves just for you!

Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray

Use sparingly on damp hair as a little goes a long way with this tried and true classic. Leaves the hair feeling soft and smelling of coconut. Yum!

Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray

Surf Spray is a foaming mouse that also packs a punch when it comes to hydration. It has an extra dose of sea kelp, coconut, and moisturization.

Lush Sea Spray

This one is for the more natural, earthy product lovers. Not only does this product give extra body, volume and hold, it also smells like citrus fruit. It leaves you feeling happy and uplifted!
